I released flimsel-0.0.9.
From ChangeLog:
* Fix threading related crash with non-jpeg images.
* No longer display file names.
* Don't draw frames around the images.
* Add shadow.
* Support -bg option to set the background color.
* Improve examples/flimsel.sh.
